Moving Blocks launches unique community charity program
Vancouver, B.C. – October 13, 2004 - As part of its two-year anniversary celebration, Moving Blocks Inc., the leading supplier of industrial-strength plastic moving containers, dollies, and wardrobes for rent to those moving in the Lower Mainland, has launched an innovative local charity program in celebration of its success to date and in appreciation of the support received from the community during its first two years of business.
Starting this quarter and entitled “The Moving Blocks CARES4U™ Charity Program”, Moving Blocks hopes to build on its community contribution started two years ago this November when it launched its environmentally-friendly plastic container rental service to reduce cardboard waste normally associated with moving. Under this new program, the company is committed to supporting a different charity in the Lower Mainland each quarter including monetary donations and hands-on contributions. At a minimum, Moving Blocks is committed to contributing $5 from every customer order over $100 during the quarter providing an automatic way for its customers to get involved too.

At the beginning of each quarter, Moving Blocks staff will jointly decide which organization to support with a goal to spread the company’s contributions across different types of organizations over the years ahead.
